Which repairs or updates should I make before I sell my hone?

You’ve made the decision to sell your home but let’s face it, it could use a little updating, maybe you let a few maintenance items slip. My advice would be for you to interview a couple of Realtors, find one that you’re comfortable with and hire him/her.

Your Realtor will be glad to walk through your house and evaluate it through a buyer’s eyes and make recommendations on which items need to be taken care of before you sell. You may be surprised that even small changes can give you a lot of bang for your buck.  Your Realtor can also help you with staging and helping you simplify and de-personalize your home so it will be easier for a buyer to imagine their family in your home.

So, before you run out and spend a bunch of money making changes and repairs that may not be necessary, please talk to a professional, talk to a Realtor.
